Mister TIG™says: In order to successfully weld Titanium, the area must be properly shielded with inert gas prior to welding, during welding and as the weld cools to below 500°F. Good gas coverage depends on proper diffusion of the gas stream. Shielding Gas needs to be distributed evenly, in a manner that prevents turbulence and the re-introduction of oxygen into the weld zone. Do not use “Y” with these cups. I recommend using either a dual flow flowmeter or an additional gas cylinder for optimal coverage
